We are a new seafood restaurant and fish & chips venue preparing to open, and we are looking for enthusiastic and reliable kitchen team members to join us from opening.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in preparing quality food consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking seafood, fish & chips and other menu items
- Frying, grilling and preparing seafood to a high standard
- Food preparation, portioning and plating
- Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
- Following food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well stocked
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Assisting with general kitchen duties and preparation as required
- Working effectively as part of a small kitchen team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous seafood or fish & chips kitchen experience is highly preferred
- Experience working with different types of seafood is an advantage
- Commercial kitchen experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
What We Offer
- $27–$30 per hour, depending on experience
- 25–30 hours per week
- Part-time or casual employment

Experience Candidates with previous experience in seafood restaurants, fish & chips shops or commercial seafood kitchens will be strongly preferred.
