We are a family-owned pub in Toowoomba and pride ourselves in providing country-style hospitality, great service and delicious food. We are seeking a Casual Chef to join our team who enjoys working as part of a dedicated team in a quick-paced environment and high-volume pub kitchen.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Monitoring quality of dishes, preparation and presentation
- Line cooking
- Discussing food preparation issues with Head chef, kitchen and waiting staff
- Be fast, efficient and work able to work well under pressure
- Have effective communication skills
- Normal kitchen cleaning duties including full wash down of equipment at end of shift and weekly deep cleaning will be a requirement
- Work within the requirements of food safety, food handling as required by council for food premises registration and legal requirements
