Territory Generation is a Government Owned Corporation formed in 2014 under the Northern Territory Government's electricity market reforms. It generates approximately 1,900GWh a year from gas, diesel and solar to power Darwin and towns across the Territory. Its vision is to be the Territory's trusted and respected energy services business, delivering safe, reliable and affordable electricity for all Territorians.

Reporting to the Chair, you will work with the Board to lead the Territory's major power generation business. You will be accountable for safe, reliable and affordable electricity supply from Territory Generation's power stations, driving efficiency, cost and reliability performance while building a commercially astute, performance-driven and safety-aware culture. You will balance short-term delivery with long-term success, ensure statutory, regulatory and governance duties are discharged, and act as key spokesperson with the Shareholding Minister, government, regulators, customers and industry stakeholders.

You are an experienced CEO or senior executive, ideally from the electricity generation sector, having led an organisation through significant change and transformation. You operate at a strategic level across market and organisation, with advanced stakeholder management,



commercial negotiation and sound judgement skills. You understand the role of a Government Owned Corporation, build leadership capability and succession in your executive team, and keep safety paramount.

Key Selection Criteria

- Executive level leadership and performance improvement in a complex operating workplace.
- Strategic and financial management of a contemporary generator or complex energy market participant.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and market issues in the Northern Territory, Wholesale Electricity Market or National Electricity Market.
- Advanced stakeholder management, commercial negotiation and industrial relations experience.
- A Bachelor degree in a related discipline, with postgraduate qualifications well regarded.
