About the Property:

We are now seeking a permanent Chief Engineer/Facilities and Maintenance Manager to lead our highly experienced maintenance team.

The role:

As Chief Engineer, you will lead all aspects of the Hotel’s engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring the Property, facilities, plant and equipment are maintained to an optimal, safe and efficient standard.

Your responsibilities will encompass all interior and exterior areas, including electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, heating, cooling and ventilation systems, as well as structural maintenance, landscaping, car parks and other facilities and equipment essential to the effective operation of the Hotel.

In a hands-on operational workplace, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Engineering team,



ensuring maintenance priorities are effectively managed and operational requirements are met.

You will manage and oversee the Maintenance Request System, regularly analysing recurring guest and Property issues, response and completion times, and maintenance trends. You will identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical solutions to enhance efficiency, reliability and the overall guest experience.

Working closely with all Operational Departments, the Chief Engineer will also provide leadership and direction across risk management and WHSE, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for the Property, our guests and colleagues.
