Summary

Based in Sydney, the purpose of this role is to provide strategic and financial leadership, stewarding the financial resources of Baptist World Aid, including the leadership of the International Programming finance. The role will ensure compliant financial reporting, business partnering and monitoring occur. A strong and trusted business partner to the Senior Leadership Team and CEO, the role leads a high-performing finance team, and works closely with the CEO and Board to achieve the organisation’s vision, and objectives.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

- Post graduate qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA/CA qualification required
- Senior management experience in a similar role
- Team contributor - in a small hands on Executive team
- Demonstrated strong financial, business partnering and project management skills
- Excellent people management skills, including ability to coach managers and develop staff
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated capacity to present financial reports to Board
- Proficiency in financial management software (eg. Netsuite, Xero, Quickbooks etc) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Aligned to the vision, mission and values of Baptist World Aid

Desirable

- Experience in International Aid sector
