Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer - Controller to lead our financial operations with energy and precision. This pivotal role combines executive leadership with hands-on financial management, ensuring the organization’s fiscal health aligns with its strategic goals. Duties

- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial strategies that support organizational growth and sustainability.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, including financial statement analysis, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and IAS (International Accounting Standards).
- Manage risk assessment processes, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance, risk analysis, and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Direct treasury management activities such as cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, investment strategies, and cost control initiatives.
- Spearhead financial projection model development to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts.
- Oversee revenue management, profit & loss analysis, expense management, and cost control measures to optimize profitability.
- Lead mergers & acquisitions activities by conducting due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiation support, and integration planning.
- Supervise finance team members in areas such as payroll management,



supply chain finance, governmental accounting, and business analysis.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on corporate strategy initiatives including fundraising for business development and market analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Prepare clear financial reports and interpret complex financial data to inform decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.

Qualifications

- Extensive experience in accounting and finance leadership roles within corporate or non-profit sectors; prior finance directorship preferred.
- Strong expertise in financial software systems and technical accounting standards such as ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), COSO (Internal Control Framework), IFRS, GAAP, and IAS.
- Proven track record in managing risk analysis processes, regulatory reporting requirements, and compliance with industry-specific financial regulations.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, financial modeling, forecasting analysis, and developing financial concepts that drive organizational success.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience supervising teams in complex environments; ability to motivate high-performance teams.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with business development acumen to foster growth opportunities through mergers & acquisitions or fundraising initiatives.
- Deep understanding of industry knowledge related to governmental accounting, supply chain finance, cost management, expense control, and revenue cycle management.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial statements and conducting comprehensive market analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; advanced degrees or certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable.
