Civil Supervisor – Electricity Networks

About The Role We are looking for an experienced Civil Supervisor to lead internal employees and contractors delivering programs of work across electricity network assets.

This is a practical, hands-on leadership role where you will take ownership of day-to-day field delivery, provide explicit direction to your crews and make sound decisions when priorities change. You will be accountable for completing work safely, efficiently and within agreed time and cost requirements, while maintaining quality, productivity and customer service.

Working closely with project managers, workforce planning and operational teams, you will help plan resources, resolve delivery issues and build a capable, accountable team.

You Will

- Lead, coach and coordinate employees and contractors across allocated electricity network works.
- Plan labour, resources and delivery activities to meet safety, quality, programme and budget requirements.
- Monitor productivity, utilisation, milestones and KPIs, addressing issues before they affect delivery.
- Manage operational risk and make practical decisions during outages, emergencies and other time-critical situations.
- Ensure work closures, timesheets,



reports and supporting documentation are completed accurately and on time.

The role’s core purpose is to supervise employees and contractors in the efficient delivery of allocated civil work programmes while managing time, cost, asset performance and safety objectives. Its accountabilities include team leadership, construction planning, budget management, operational decision-making, KPI performance, work closure and proactive safety management. About You You are a credible field leader who is comfortable taking responsibility for people, safety and delivery outcomes. You bring practical electricity network experience, remain calm when plans change and are prepared to make decisions and own the result.

You Will Ideally Bring

- A relevant civil trade qualification or other formal technical qualification.
- Experience supervising construction, maintenance or operational work on electricity networks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop field-based employees and contractors.
- Strong planning, communication, problem-solving and risk management capability.
- Working knowledge of relevant health, safety, environmental, contractual and industrial requirements.

Experience managing budgets, external service providers and performance measures will be highly regarded. Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel would also be beneficial.
