About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, experienced and motivated Part-Time Commercial Cleaner to join our team servicing commercial sites in Lara and surrounding areas.

This is a stable part-time position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts of approximately 5 hours per evening, commencing after 6:00 pm. Occasional additional hours, weekend work or relief shifts may be available or required depending on operational requirements and will be paid in accordance with the applicable award and employment conditions.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness across allocated commercial sites. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and can work efficiently and independently.

You will work closely with our Area Manager and supervisory team to ensure cleaning standards are consistently maintained across our client sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete scheduled commercial cleaning duties in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
- Vacuum carpets and floor areas.
- Sweep and mop hard floors.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, toilets and amenities.
- Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture and fixtures.
- Clean high-touch and high-traffic areas.
- Empty and replace rubbish bins.
- Clean internal glass and windows where required.
- Restock cleaning products and consumables where required.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and checklists.
- Complete cleaning duties within allocated timeframes.
- Report maintenance issues, damage, hazards or other concerns to the Area Manager.
- Work professionally and respectfully at all client premises.
- Follow all company WHS procedures and client site requirements.




- Assist with periodic deep-cleaning tasks when required.
- Provide relief coverage for other team members when required and reasonably requested.
- Work cooperatively with the Area Manager, supervisors and other members of the cleaning team.

PAY RATE The position will be classified under the Cleaning Services Award 2020 (MA000022), subject to the employee's actual duties and classification.

For an adult Level 1 part-time cleaning employee working Monday to Friday on the applicable evening shift, the current minimum Award rate from 1 July 2026 is $35.20 per hour.

Superannuation and applicable leave and other employment entitlements are payable in accordance with the National Employment Standards and the applicable Award.

Different rates may apply for overtime, Saturday, Sunday, public holiday work or other circumstances under the Award.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have

- Minimum 1 year's commercial cleaning experience.
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current and valid Australian Driver Licence.
- Reliable transport and the ability to travel to allocated work locations.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday evenings after 6:00 pm.
- The ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- A reliable and professional attitude.

- Covering shifts for absent employees.
- Additional cleaning requirements.
- Periodic deep-cleaning duties.
- Additional commercial sites within the local area.
- Occasional weekend work.
- Other reasonable cleaning-related duties consistent with the position and applicable employment classification.

- Correctly use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical handling requirements.
- Wear required PPE.
- Report hazards, incidents, damage and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a safe working workplace.
- Follow all client-specific health, safety and access requirements.
