Director - Listed Markets & Asset Management

Platinum Pacific Partners – Sydney CBD NSW

We are looking for a new team member to work alongside the Partner – Listed Markets and Asset Management and execute all assignments either independently or collaboratively, with the view to becoming a specialist executive search consultant with a focus on Listed Markets and Asset Management space (investments, sales, pension funds / wealth).

KEY TASKS

Execute search assignments independently and in some instances together on specific roles

Manage recruitment processes from beginning to end, including all salary negotiations and resignation discussions to ensure an optimal outcome for the firm

Utilise and share all market news, research, updates and intelligence gathering with our internal admin team, so they she can ensure our market mappings remain up to date and research is readily actionable

Be proactive in the market maps, continually updating other news and market moves so our documents remain real time

Write search proposals and documentation used for client marketing activities

Continually source and recruit candidates by using tools such as our database (Encore), social media and advertising platforms





Screen candidates resumes and job applications

Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes

Write and deliver candidate shortlists within expected time horizons communicated to clients

An understanding of financial products and the financial services community

Ability to develop relationships and networks across a broad range of people and groups – both within the company and externally

Strong written and verbal communication

Willingness to be part of a growing and collegial team

Capable of working independently and as part of a team

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in financial services recruitment (1-3 years)

Relevant tertiary education, bachelor degree etc

Asset management or equities recruiting experience will be viewed favourably
