The Division of Surgical Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Assistant Director of Nursing (Surgical) to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your opportunity
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) demonstrates competence in the provision of nursing care as specified by registration requirements, NMBA standards and codes, educational preparation, relevant legislation and context of care and advanced clinical management and/or a specified portfolio expertise.
The ADON takes responsibility for the overall planning, coordination, formulation and direction of policies relating to the provision of clinical care,
as well as for the efficient and effective use of human and material resources in a specific area within a agile health environment.
