About the role The Performance and Commercial Team Manager leads a team of specialists who turn data into practical insights that help us make better decisions about the services we purchase. As a scheme, we invest heavily in healthcare and support services for our clients, and we are continually seeking to better understand and measure the outcomes achieved through that investment.

In this role, you'll bring your expertise in healthcare funding, provider management and commercial strategy to help shape the TAC's approach to purchasing healthcare services. You'll use data, market insights and performance analysis to inform fee schedules, assess provider value and performance, and support strategic investment decisions. Working across a diverse provider market, you'll help embed our Provider and Performance Framework and drive better outcomes for clients, providers and the scheme.





About the Team The team is a group of highly experienced technical experts who turn complex commercial and performance insights into strategic outcomes for the organisation. They’re an established, high‑performing team that acts as a critical enabler to internal and external stakeholders. With a supportive, collaborative management style, the team values clarity, trust and working together to deliver high‑quality results.

What we’re looking for

Strategic Insights & Performance Leadership You bring the ability to turn complex performance, financial and industry data into explicit insights that guide confident decisions. You understand the organisation’s strategic goals, lead the development of meaningful dashboards and reports, and translate data and insights into practical recommendations.

Commercial & Fee Strategy Expertise You have strong commercial judgement and experience in developing evidence‑based fee schedules, benchmarking provider performance, and evaluating health funding models. You can explain commercial analysis in simple terms, prepare clear advice for decision‑makers, and ensure our purchasing strategies deliver value, sustainability and affordability. Your expertise helps us understand not just what we spend, but the outcomes we achieve for that investment.

Leadership, Collaboration & Stakeholder Influence You’re an inclusive, outcomes‑focused leader who builds capability, supports development and brings out the best in a highly skilled team. You create clarity,



encourage collaboration and guide the team through change with confidence. You also excel at building strong relationships across clinical, commercial and operational stakeholders, aligning people around shared goals and influencing strategic outcomes.
