Role Description

The SAP IBP Implementation Lead is responsible for Business Requirement gathering, Solution Design, Build & Configuration, Unit testing, IST, UAT, Key User training, GO‑Live and Hyper Care support. This role is also responsible for Data integration design, build & testing of interfaces.

The SAP IBP Implementation Lead works closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, functional teams, S4 HANA team and external partners to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable SAP IBP Solution with data integrations that support business processes for SAP IBP.

Responsibilities

- Architecture & Integration Strategy
- Provide SAP driven solutions for Business requirements in the area of SAP IBP modules such as Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory along with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations).




- Develop Business Requirement, Functional design & Technical Solution Design document as per the requirement gathered during workshops.
- Design Data integration flows with SAP IBP (both inbound and Outbound flows) using CIDS / RTI / CI.
- Provide end to end Solution Architecture from SAP IBP perspective and data integrations.
- Provide Roles & Authorization or Security for SAP IBP business users.

- Delivery Leadership

- Lead the entire IBP team & integration team in Planning, providing functional expertise, Solution Design, Configuration & development, Testing and deployment of SAP IBP solutions from Business Requirement Gathering to GO‑Live & Hypercare support.
- Lead Business Requirement Gathering workshops & engage with client from SAP IBP Perspective.
- Build & Configuration of SAP IBP modules along with MRO.
- Lead a team of consultants in studying and analyzing requirements to define solution alternatives, To‑be process maps and other solution design deliverables.
- Perform high level fit‑gap analysis and process changes, carry out benchmarking studies, provide assistance to consultants in resolving complex requirements and guide in customization or tailoring of best practices, algorithms, solution capabilities in line with customer requirements.
- Ensure smooth execution of SAP IBP project implementation as Lead.
- Lead, mentor & guide Offshore SAP IBP and Data integration team.
- Provide solution design options, development standards, and deployment approaches.
- Design ‘Data integration’ solution approaches and integrations with both SAP and NON‑SAP systems.
- Ensure that entire IBP project delivery is on time with all relevant documentation like Business Requirement Document, Functional Design Document, Configuration Document, UAT Scripts, IST Scripts, UAT & IST testing document, Key User Training document etc …

- Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with business leaders, enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
- Interface with SAP and third‑party implementation partners.




- Present architecture solutions to steering committees and executive stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to integration developers and architects.
- Study process and knowledge management processes in place at the customer, work with the customer to develop repository and put in place a knowledge management process. Drive user adoption through training, change management, process documentation, and knowledge transfer wherever required.
- Review test plans, test cases and test execution reports. Perform sample testing to gauge the quality and take corrective actions to strengthen the testing.
- Facilitate executive steering committee discussions, status reporting, risk management, and decision tracking.

Technical and Professional Requirements

- Technical Expertise
- SAP IBP (Mandatory)
- 12+ years of experience in SAP IBP with minimum 5 or 6 end to end SAP IBP implementation experience.
- Strong hands‑on experience with:
- SAP IBP Demand
- SAP IBP S&OP;
- SAP IBP Supply & Response
- SAP IBP Inventory
- MRO (Maintenance Repair Operations) on SAP IBP
- SAP Dashboards and Analytics

- Additional Requirements

- Experience integrating SAP and non‑SAP landscapes.
- Experience leading global template, rollout, and transformation programs.
- Experience in multiple end‑to‑end SAP IBP implementations.
- Deep understanding of supply chain planning processes and SAP best practices.
- Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and consulting skills.
- Strong understanding of:
- CI_DS
- RTI
- CI

- SAP S/4HANA Or SAP ECC
- SAP IBP

- Leadership Skills

- Experience leading global teams for Implementing SAP projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven track record delivering large‑scale transformation programs.
