RCC Civil is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team and provide additional senior-level capability across the business.

Based in the Northern Rivers , the majority of our projects are located throughout the Northern Rivers and surrounding areas. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of a hands-on civil contractor and have genuine involvement in both winning and delivering work .

This isn't a role limited to managing one project.

You'll work closely with our senior management team across project delivery, tendering, contract negotiations, commercial management and client relationships , while also providing guidance and support to our project and site teams.

The role will include:

- Overseeing civil projects from tender through to completion
- Tender reviews, methodologies and pre-contract planning
- Contract review and negotiations
- Programming, budgets, forecasting and project performance
- Variations, claims, EOTs and commercial management
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Managing and supporting project teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Identifying project, contractual and commercial risks early
- Working with management on upcoming opportunities and business priorities




- Stepping in where your experience is needed to help get the right outcome

Who we're looking for

We're not looking for someone stepping into their first Project Manager role. We need someone with substantial civil construction experience who is confident operating at a senior level.

You'll need strong construction knowledge, commercial awareness and contract administration skills, along with the ability to communicate confidently with clients, consultants, subcontractors and our own teams.

You'll be someone who can wear many hats , work autonomously, make sound decisions and see the bigger picture - while still being prepared to get into the detail when required.

A Civil Engineering or Construction Management qualification would be well regarded, however strong industry experience and demonstrated capability are equally key to us .
