Cleaning site Supervisor

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per annum, plus superannuation, depending on experience and capabilities

Work Days: Sunday to Thursday

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning Site Supervisor to join our team and take responsibility for leading cleaning teams, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring our site operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company requirements.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong commercial cleaning experience who can lead by example, support their team, communicate confidently with clients, and drive ongoing performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, train and support new and existing cleaning staff.
- Build strong, effective and skilled cleaning teams.
- Provide training in chemical handling, cleaning procedures and machinery use.
- Implement company systems and ensure compliance with company policies, SDS requirements and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
- Ensure cleaning teams consistently follow the approved Scope of Work.
- Communicate professionally with clients and respond promptly to concerns or service issues.
- Organise and manage cleaning chemicals, consumables and equipment.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and machinery is used correctly and maintained to a high standard.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback, training and support.
- Assist with commercial and periodical cleaning duties when required.
- Report operational issues and relevant site matters to our Managers.




- Identify opportunities for performance improvement and help maintain consistently high cleaning standards.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous commercial cleaning experience – essential.
- Previous supervisory or team-leader experience – essential.
- Strong leadership and staff-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to effectively manage and motivate cleaning teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleaning standards.
- A solid understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment and workplace safety procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of the operation and basic maintenance of auto scrubbers and pressure washers.
- The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage multiple sites or responsibilities.
- A professional approach and the ability to build positive relationships with staff and clients.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends when required.
