Are you organised, accurate and enjoy working in a fast-paced laboratory environment? Join our team and play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality pathology services. In this role, you will prepare and process specimens for scientific testing, ensuring samples are accurately registered, processed, aliquoted and referred as required.

You will also undertake data entry and microbiological specimen setup, while providing an productive and responsive service to both internal and external clients.

The essential requirements for this role are;

- Demonstrated high work ethics, the ability to work autonomously and a high-level pride in their work.
- Ability to deliver high quality services to clients. Ability to understand and react responsively to client expectations.
- High level of communication skills to enable effective interaction in individual and group situations.
- Demonstrated effective administration skills including keyboard skills. Ability to acquire knowledge of computer systems.
- Demonstrated ability or the ability to achieve competency in the proficient use of information technology equipment and applications in use in the Microbiology department.
