Gentle Dental Hervey Bay operates 2 energetic clinics (Eli Water and Urraween); offering a wide range of services to patients from all general dentistry to Orthodontics, Implantology (including A04), GA and IV procedures - using the absolute most modern equipment available.

Qualifications & experience

- Recent and relevant experience as a Dental Assistant is mandatory
- Leadership experience demonstrated
- Business Administration and/or leadership management qualifications highly regarded
- Cert 3 or 4 Dental Assisting
- A passion for training others
- Right to work in Australia
- Highly professional with consistent high standards
- Ability to encourage, support and lead a team
- Extremely organised
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable
- Punctual and shows initiative
- Can-Do, motivated and positive attitude whilst operating in a fast paced environment




- Great troubleshooting skills

Tasks & responsibilities

- Work closely with Practice Manager and Leadership Team to implement operational standards and practice improvements
- Be pivotal in the project of clinic/business expansion and relevant strategic planning
- Lead, encourage and demonstrate positive workplace cultures and behaviours
- Assist with recruitment processes as well as staff onboarding, clinical training and induction
- Oversight of team performance and ongoing supervision and support to team as required
- Stock ordering and management/ team supervision
- Equipment records/maintenance/schedules management/coordination
- All general Dental Assisting and Reception duties as required
