About RPM Allied Health
RPM Allied Health is a growing mobile allied health service providing Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy across Melbourne’s western and north-western suburbs, the CBD, surrounding inner suburbs and Geelong.
We support children, adults and older people living with disability, neurological conditions, chronic health conditions, injuries and age-related changes. Our services are delivered in clients’ homes and community settings—including local gyms, pools and parks—allowing therapy to be practical, accessible and relevant to everyday life.

At RPM Allied Health, movement is used as a practical tool to improve strength, mobility, confidence, independence and participation in everyday life. We focus on meaningful outcomes—not simply completing exercises.
About the Role
We are looking for an Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our supportive and growing team.
This is a part-time mobile position with the opportunity to increase to full-time as your caseload develops. You will manage a varied caseload and deliver individualised services in clients’ homes and community environments.
You may work with clients living with:
Neurological conditions, including stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, acquired brain injury and cerebral palsy
Intellectual disability and autism
Psychosocial disability and mental health conditions
Musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain
Chronic health conditions
Age-related changes and reduced mobility
Post-surgical and injury rehabilitation needs
We are looking for someone who values genuine relationships, communicates clearly and can adapt exercise programs to each client’s abilities, goals and environment.
Key Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive Exercise Physiology assessments.
Develop and deliver safe, evidence-based and individualised exercise programs.
Provide services in clients’ homes, gyms, pools, parks and other community settings.
Support clients to improve strength, mobility, balance, cardiovascular fitness, functional capacity and independence.
Monitor client progress and modify programs according to changing needs.
Prepare clinical notes, progress reports, recommendations and funding reports.
Work across funding pathways including NDIS, aged care, TAC, DVA, WorkCover, Medicare and private services.
Collaborate with families, support coordinators, support workers and other health professionals.
Participate in care-team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
Manage appointments, documentation and caseload responsibilities efficiently.
Build positive and professional relationships with clients and their support networks.
About You
You are an enthusiastic and compassionate Exercise Physiologist who enjoys helping people achieve meaningful improvements through movement.
You can work independently in the community while remaining connected to and supported by the wider RPM Allied Health team. You are organised, reliable and comfortable managing a varied mobile caseload.
Essential Requirements
Current accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise & Sports Science Australia.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Current National Police Check.
Current Working with Children Check.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Current Australian driver’s licence.
Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel between appointments.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Desirable Experience
Experience working with NDIS participants and people living with disability.
Experience in neurological rehabilitation.
Experience with TAC, DVA, WorkCover, aged care or Medicare-funded services.
Experience preparing clinical reports and funding recommendations.
Experience supporting people living with psychosocial disability or mental health conditions.
Confidence using education, behaviour-change strategies and motivational interviewing.
Experience with practice-management software and mobile service delivery.
Applicants with limited experience or recent graduates are also encouraged to apply if they demonstrate strong communication skills, initiative and a genuine interest in community-based allied health.
