About This Role

Your new role

As the Clinical Nurse Consultant – Rural Adaptive Networked Colonoscopy Service (RANCS), you will provide advanced nursing and endoscopy expertise to support the development and delivery of innovative service models across rural and remote Queensland. Based within the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department at Princess Alexandra Hospital, you will work with multidisciplinary stakeholders to develop clinical resources, training and quality improvement initiatives that support safe, effective and equitable access to colonoscopy services.

You will,

- Lead clinical improvement, innovation and service redesign initiatives across the RANCS project.
- Develop adaptable clinical work instructions, resources and training to support rural and remote services.
- Build strong relationships with multidisciplinary and statewide stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

About You You are an experienced Registered Nurse with advanced knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and Endoscopy care, combined with strong leadership, project management and stakeholder engagement skills. You will bring the ability to lead change, translate evidence into practice and work collaboratively to develop innovative solutions in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will have,

- Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in Endoscopy nursing and contemporary healthcare practice.




- Demonstrated project management, data analysis, report writing and quality improvement skills.
- Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Princess Alexandra Hospital The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.



We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a recent Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.

We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
