CNC Machinist – Multi-Axis (3, 4 & 5 Axis)

Our CNC team is small but critical — playing a vital role within a highly integrated group of aerospace technicians, engineers and defence specialists. The components you machine directly support mission-critical assemblies and advanced lightweight systems.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our growing advanced manufacturing team.

The Role

You will operate and set up:

- 5-Axis CNC Machining Centres

- 4-Axis CNC Machining Centres

- 3-Axis CNC Mills

- CNC Lathes

- CNC Routers

You'll machine aerospace-grade aluminium (2xxx, 6xxx, 7xxx), stainless steels, titanium and specialist materials — working to tight tolerances and high quality standards under AS9100D systems.

This is precision, low-to-medium volume, high-value manufacturing — not repetitive production line work.

We're Looking For

- Trade-qualified CNC Machinist (or equivalent experience)

- Minimum 5-7 years of CNC machining experience required

- Multi-axis machining experience (3, 4 or 5 axis)

- Programming and setup capability for multi-axis machining required

- Strong drawing interpretation and GD&T; understanding





- Experience machining to tight tolerances

- Proven experience working to tolerances of ±0.01mm or better

- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship

- Ability to work within structured quality systems

Desirable
- Aerospace or defence manufacturing experience

- 5-Axis machining capability

- CAM (NX, Fusion etc) programming experience

Additional Information:

This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Security Clearance due to the sensitive nature of the work involved.
