The Commercial Finance Analyst supports the Commercial Finance Manager - Operations by providing analysis and insights across mycar's national store network, with a focus on labour optimisation, store bonus and incentive calculations, and store performance.

Key Relationships:

- Support the Commercial Finance Manager - Operations in partnering with Operations, with a focus on store performance, labour productivity and incentive outcomes.

- Develop strong working relationships with Operations Leadership, Regional and Store Leadership, People and Culture, Payroll and relevant Support Office teams.

- Partner with business support functions to provide decision support and commercial analysis of operational initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Commercial Business Partnering

- Support the Commercial Finance Manager - Operations in partnering with Operations leaders to provide commercial guidance and financial decision support across the store network.

- Deliver meaningful analysis of store performance, labour productivity, incentives and profitability, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations.

- Identify performance risks and improvement opportunities, providing constructive challenge and guidance to support operational and workforce performance outcomes.

Financial Performance & Reporting

- Monitor and analyse store financial and operational performance, providing insights on sales, gross margin, labour productivity, controllable costs and profitability, and identifying key trends, risks and improvement opportunities.

- Perform labour optimisation and workforce analytics across the store network, including productivity measures, roster efficiency,



labour-to-sales metrics and scenario modelling to support operational decision-making.

- Deliver store and regional performance reporting and benchmarking, identifying performance gaps, root causes and opportunities to improve commercial outcomes.

- Own the forecasting and administration of store incentive and bonus programs, including financial impact assessment, performance calculations, data validation, stakeholder review and final sign-off.

Data Integrity & Continuous Improvement

- Improve reporting processes and increase automation.

- Improve data governance across reporting and forecasting processes.

- Investigate discrepancies between systems and resolve root causes.

- Drive process efficiencies.

Experience and Qualifications:

- Degree in Finance or Accounting

- CA / CPA qualification with a preference for candidates with commercial, finance or accounting background

- Influence major business decisions by partnering with senior leaders across Finance, Operations and Property.

- Work on high-impact commercial projects including new store investments, capital expenditure, forecasting and network optimisation.

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A; or Finance Business Partnering, with strong experience in retail or another multi-site operating environment.

- Strong understanding of retail KPIs and multi-site performance drivers, including sales, margin, labour productivity, conversion, average transaction value and store profitability.
