Qualified Plumber – Commercial Projects | Brisbane

BMB Plumbing & Contracting Pty Ltd is a growing, privately owned plumbing company based in Southeast Queensland, servicing Brisbane, surrounding areas and the Gold Coast.

We specialise in commercial, civil and hydraulic plumbing across a diverse range of projects, including schools, pubs, clubs and hospitality venues, commercial developments, refurbishments and civil infrastructure.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are looking for an experienced Qualified Plumber to join our team for an immediate start.

What we offer:

- $45–$60 per hour, depending on experience and capability
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday, with overtime/weekend work available when required
- Superannuation, annual leave and personal/sick leave
- Living Away From Home Allowance (LAHA) where applicable

- Specialist tools supplied – basic hand tools required

About the role: You will work across a variety of commercial and civil plumbing projects throughout Brisbane and Southeast Queensland.

Your responsibilities may include

- Commercial plumbing installation, maintenance and rectification works
- Sewer, water, stormwater and drainage installations
- Rough-ins and fit-offs
- Reading and interpreting hydraulic drawings, plans and specifications
- Diagnosing faults and providing practical onsite solutions




- Coordinating with builders, supervisors, project managers and other trades
- Ensuring works comply with relevant Australian Standards, codes and project requirements
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and site organisation
- Working independently when required and as part of the wider BMB team

To be considered, you will need:

- Current QBCC Plumbing Occupational Licence or relevant plumbing licence
- Certificate III in Plumbing
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Construction White Card
- Commercial plumbing experience
- Ability to confidently read and interpret plans and hydraulic drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Positive communication and organisational skills
- Reliable and skilled approach to work
- Ability to provide skilled references

Highly regarded but not essential:

- Experience operating excavators or other plant
- Backflow prevention endorsement/testing experience
- Civil and underground drainage experience
- Experience on larger commercial construction projects
- Additional plumbing endorsements/tickets
