The Opportunity n
Our client is looking for an APS6 Accounts Receivable Officer to join its finance team on a non-ongoing or labour hire contract basis until 30 June 2027.
n
You'll look after revenue administration, treasury and reporting, and report to an Assistant Director.
n
You'll have the chance to:

- Own the full accounts receivable cycle, from invoicing and receipting through to debt follow-up
n
- Work up to two days from home each week once onboarding is complete, with the option to work a four-day week if preferred
n
The Role n
As an Accounts Receivable Officer, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Managing end-to-end accounts receivable, from invoicing to debt recovery
n
- Administering and maintaining revenue contracts, claims and renewals
n
- Preparing monthly bank reconciliations and process bank transactions
n
- Completing general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
n
- Posting monthly journals, including interest accruals
n
- Preparing cash flow forecasts and monitor cash balances
n
- Administering investments and maintain the investment register
n
- Supporting internal and external audits
n
The Ideal Person n
You're an experienced finance professional who enjoys reconciliations and getting the detail right.
n
You work well with limited supervision and are comfortable being the main contact for internal and external stakeholders.
n
You will bring the following skills and experience:
n
n
- Experience in accounts receivable, financial administration, treasury and financial reporting
n
- Solid analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail
n
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a customer service focus
n
n
An Australian citizenship is mandatory for this role.
Salary / Rate n
n
- Non-ongoing APS: $100k - $110k + Super
n
- Contractor: $65/hr - $75/hr + Super
n
- Available until June 2027
n
- Full-time role, with the option to work four days a week
n
