Kitchen Attendant - The Albion Hotel, Wickham n

Perched on the corner in the heart of Newcastle, The Albion Hotel sits at the end of the line, just a short stroll from the Wickham transport hub and only moments from the harbour.

Open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, it's the kind of place you can settle in for a proper pub meal or a quiet drink with a mate. There's always something happening at The Albion, whether you're dropping in with family, friends or the whole crew.

The Albion Hotel is a welcoming local pub in Wickham, Newcastle. We're looking for a Kitchen Attendant to support our chefs and help keep the kitchen running smoothly.

The Role

n

This is a casual role for around 20 hours per week, with shifts mostly on nights and weekends. The hours could suit someone studying or looking for a second job.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
n
- Keep kitchen and food preparation areas clean and organised
n




- Assist chefs with basic food preparation and plating
n
- Restock supplies and dispose of rubbish
n
- Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures
n
- Help the team during busy service periods
n

About You

n

- Reliable, organised and willing to pitch in
n
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen
n
- Able to communicate well and work as part of a team
n
- Available for night and weekend shifts
n
- Kitchen experience is welcome, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as key
