The Chance
As Contract Administrator, you'll play a key role in the commercial management of a major residential development. Working closely with the Project Manager and broader delivery team, you'll be responsible for managing subcontractor procurement, contract administration, cost control and financial reporting to help ensure successful project outcomes.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys being involved in all stages of project delivery and is looking to further develop their commercial and project management capabilities on a large-scale project.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering and contract awards
- Administer subcontractor and supplier agreements throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare, assess and process progress claims and variations
- Assist with project forecasting, budgeting and cost reporting
- Monitor contract compliance and commercial performance
- Support monthly financial reporting and project reviews
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and key stakeholders
About You You'll be an organised and commercially minded Contract Administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment. To Be Successful, You'll Bring
- Degree qualification in Construction Management or a related discipline
- 4+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry
- Experience delivering large-scale residential or apartment projects
- Exposure to projects valued at $100m+
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Sound understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management systems
