The Chance MinRes is seeking a Contract Specialist to join our Contracts team on a 12-month fixed term basis . You’ll work closely with our Supply team, drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and providing practical, commercially minded advice that protects MinRes's interests. Reporting to the Manager Legal – Contracts, you’ll have the support of an experienced team.

Key responsibilities

- Draft, review and negotiate contracts and purchase order terms, primarily for goods and services procurement.
- Collaborate across corporate departments including procurement, finance and insurance.
- Provide practical and commercially-minded advice on contract and risk management matters.
- Prepare letters,



notices and other contract-related correspondence, and put together the paperwork needed to get contracts approved internally and signed.

What You'll Bring

- Proven experience in a law firm, in-house legal team or a commercial/procurement industry (resources, mining services or construction industry preferred).
- A law degree is an advantage, though not essential.
- Knowledge and understanding of contract and commercial/legal issues and principles.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
