About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our dynamic team at AORI Restaurant in the heart of Sydney. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious dishes to delight our customers. This is a full-time role based in our restaurant located in Sydney CBD.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and cooking high-quality meals, following recipes and presentation standards
2. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
3. Collaborating with the head chef to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
4. Assisting with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
5. Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
6. Providing excellent customer service and working as part of a close-knit team

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role, preferably within the hospitality industry
2. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
3. Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle a fast-paced environment
4.



Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions from the head chef
5. Passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
6. Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
