FOH / All-Rounder – Port Macquarie & Forster
We are looking for reliable and experienced hospitality staff who are comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key duties include
- Taking customer orders and providing friendly customer service
- Using POS and processing payments
- Packing takeaway orders accurately
- Running food and assisting customers
- Clearing and cleaning tables
- Preparing drinks and assisting with basic food preparation
- Maintaining a clean and organised service area
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
- Supporting other team members during busy periods
What we are looking for
- Previous hospitality, restaurant, café or takeaway experience
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work quickly and accurately during busy periods
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to work across different duties rather than only one fixed task
- Weekday and/or weekend availability
Cook / Chef – Forster
We are looking for an experienced Cook or Chef who is confident working independently in a commercial kitchen.
Key responsibilities include
- Food preparation and cooking
- Managing preparation before service
- Working independently in the kitchen when required
- Managing multiple orders and prioritising tasks during busy periods
- Maintaining consistent food quality and portion control
- Keeping the kitchen and workstation clean and organised
- Preparing ingredients and monitoring stock
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
What we are looking for
- Previous commercial kitchen experience
- Ability to confidently work independently in the kitchen
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple orders under pressure
- Reliable and responsible
- Good understanding of food preparation and kitchen hygiene
- Asian or Vietnamese cooking experience is an advantage, but not essential
Hospitality Graduates & Subclass 485 Visa Holders Welcome
Applicants who have completed Commercial Cookery, Kitchen Management, Hospitality or other relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Subclass 485 visa holders are welcome.
For suitable Cook / Chef employees who demonstrate the required skills, reliability and long-term commitment to PHO HOME, potential employer-supported visa pathways may be considered, including Subclass 407 Training visa or Subclass 482 Skills in Demand visa, subject to eligibility, business requirements and immigration requirements.
