Your work will help people navigate services, access emergency relief and connect with the right supports sooner.

Through compassionate assessment, informed decision-making and coordinated service pathways, you will play an important role in ensuring community members receive equitable access to the support they need to improve their wellbeing and thrive.

As a Coordinated Intake Worker, you will:

- Connect individuals and families with the services, information and support that best meet their needs.
- Assess needs, risks and priorities to ensure timely and appropriate pathways to assistance.
- Facilitate access to emergency relief and community supports that strengthen wellbeing and stability.
- Build collaborative relationships that improve service coordination and create positive client experiences.

Position Details

- Part time, fixed term position until 2 July 2027
- 0.8 FTE working 60.8 hours per fortnight
- $105,835 (pro-rata) p/a + Super + Salary Packaging

What We’re Looking For

We value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles. To succeed in this position, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in social work, community services, psychology, welfare, human services, health promotion or a related field.




- Experience in intake, assessment, triage, referral, emergency relief, case management or service navigation within community services.
- Ability to assess needs, risk and vulnerability, apply eligibility requirements, and make informed decisions within established frameworks.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed, person-centred, strengths-based and culturally responsive practice when supporting people with complex needs.
- Well-developed communication, organisational and digital skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
