An chance has arisen for an experienced treasury professional to take ownership of treasury and insurance activities within a large, Australian-owned organisation with operations across multiple states.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility across cash and liquidity management, debt facilities, banking relationships, funding, treasury modelling and insurance. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders as well as banking, insurance and corporate partners.

The role would suit an established Treasury Manager or an experienced Senior Treasury Analyst/Treasury Accountant ready to step into broader end-to-end ownership.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and ongoing development of the organisation's treasury function, including:

- Managing short, medium and long-term cashflow forecasting and liquidity planning
- Maintaining treasury models supporting business planning, funding requirements and capital allocation
- Managing banking relationships, facility utilisation, covenant reporting and compliance
- Supporting refinancing activities, facility negotiations and capital structure decisions
- Managing foreign exchange exposures and hedging activities where required
- Providing treasury inputs into budgeting, forecasting and Board reporting
- Preparing reporting and analysis for senior leadership, lenders and other stakeholders




- Maintaining appropriate treasury policies, controls and governance frameworks

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical treasury capability with the organisation and attention to detail required to manage multiple priorities independently.

Ideally, you will bring:

- 5 years' treasury experience
- Hands-on experience across cash positioning, cashflow forecasting and liquidity planning
- Direct experience managing relationships with banks
- Experience managing debt facilities, including utilisation, reporting and covenant requirements
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
- The ability to manage treasury activities with a high degree of ownership and accuracy
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
- CA or CPA qualification preferred

You don't necessarily need to have held a Treasury Manager title previously. An experienced Treasury Analyst or Treasury Accountant who has already developed strong end-to-end treasury exposure and is ready for greater ownership would also be considered.

The Opportunity

This is a permanent full-time position based in Brisbane CBD, with flexibility to work from home 1–2 days per week.
