Job Description

Checkbox is seeking a Staff Data Engineer / Data Architect in Sydney. You will own the data and AI reference architecture across Checkbox's product ecosystem, partnering with Product, Engineering, AI and Platform teams.

This hands-on leadership role reports to the VP of Engineering and shapes the data strategy for agentic-first products. You will design secure, tenant-isolated data access patterns, evaluate data stores, warehouses and vector/semantic layers, and drive pragmatic, scalable data
