We are seeking an experienced and reliable LF Forklift Operator to join our busy freight forwarding operation in Tullamarine.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced forklift operator who is confident loading and unloading trucks and containers in a quick-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate an LF forklift to load and unload trucks and containers
- Load and unload pallets, cartons and general freight
- Move and position freight throughout the warehouse
- Assist with container loading and unloading
- Check freight for damage and report any issues
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
- Work with the warehouse and transport team to meet daily deadlines
About You
You must have:
- A current LF Forklift Licence
- Minimum 2 years' forklift operating experience
- Previous experience loading and unloading trucks and containers
- Experience in freight forwarding, transport or logistics is highly regarded
- Strong understanding of workplace safety
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment Availability to work 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Flexibility to work overtime when required by the site
