The Fashion Institute (TFI) is a globally connected fashion institute offering accelerated degrees and diplomas in Business, Communications and Media, Digital and Social Media Marketing, and UX Design. Our students learn from industry leaders, complete real workplace placements, and build networks with various brands.

Whitecliffe TFI is looking for a Course Advisor to be the first point of contact for prospective students. You'll guide people through one of the biggest decisions they'll make, working out their goals, matching them with the right program, and showing them what studying with us can do for their future.

This role is part sales, part service. If you enjoy building trust, having real conversations, and seeing people take the next step in their careers, you'll fit right in.

What you'll do

- Connect with prospective students by phone, email, and live chat, both inbound and outbound
- Understand each person's interests, motivations, and career goals, then recommend the right course
- Explain course details, entry requirements, and career outcomes with confidence
- Manage your pipeline from first enquiry through to enrolment, with timely, professional follow-up




- Build strong relationships with prospective students and their families
- Keep accurate records in our CRM
- Work with our marketing, academic, admissions, and compliance teams so students always get accurate, up-to-date information
- Represent Whitecliffe TFI at open days, info sessions, and career expos, presenting to small and large audiences
- Share what you're hearing from students (common questions, objections, market trends) to help shape our marketing and programs
- Meet individual and team enrolment targets

What you'll bring

- 2-3+ years in sales, student recruitment, or customer service, ideally in education, training, or a related sector
- A proven record of hitting targets and converting leads
- Strong consultative selling skills: you listen, uncover needs, and match the right solution
- Confident communication and the ability to build rapport quickly
- Sharp attention to detail and good organisation
- Comfort with CRM systems, call logs, and reporting tools
- A positive, proactive, collaborative attitude
- Availability to work some evenings or weekends during peak recruitment periods
- A genuine passion for education, career pathways, and helping people reach their goals
