Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Crane Operator role based in the Greater Perth Area.

The Crane

Operator will safely operate mobile and/or tower cranes for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy loads in line with project requirements and site procedures. Daily tasks include conducting pre-start checks and inspections, setting up cranes and lifting equipment, and working with rigging and site teams to execute planned lifts. The role involves following lift plans and signals, monitoring equipment performance,



and reporting any faults or safety concerns promptly.

The Crane

Operator will comply with all safety regulations, participate in toolbox meetings, and maintain accurate records of lifting activities and equipment usage.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Lifting Operations and Cranes, including secure setup, operation, and shutdown in diverse site conditions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Heavy Equipment and Lifting Equipment, with experience handling various crane types and associated lifting gear.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inspection, including conducting pre-start checks, routine equipment inspections, and identifying potential hazards.
- Valid high-risk work license for crane operation and relevant local certifications (or ability to obtain them).
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, with knowledge of lifting regulations, load charts, and risk assessment practices.
- Experience working in mining, resources, construction, or infrastructure environments is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and follow lift plans, communicate clearly with riggers and supervisors, and work effectively within a team.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work in varying outdoor conditions, including remote and high-activity sites.
