Lead a large, high-performing credit and accounts receivable function within a global logistics business supporting the healthcare sector.

We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Manager to lead a complex, high-volume credit and accounts receivable function within a global logistics organisation.

Reporting to the National Credit Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role responsible for a large team and multiple key functions across master data, collections and payment allocations. You will provide leadership and direction across the broader team while remaining closely involved in customer escalations, complex accounts and day-to-day operational performance.

About the role

- Lead and develop a large Credit & Accounts Receivable team across key functional areas
- Oversee master data, collections and payment allocation functions to ensure effective and accurate delivery
- Manage complex customer accounts, escalations and collection matters, working closely with internal stakeholders and customers
- Monitor aged debt, account performance, cash collections and key operational metrics
- Provide coaching, support and development to Supervisors and their teams
- Ensure credit and AR processes, controls and policies are consistently applied
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and team performance
- Work closely with finance, operations, customer and other internal teams to resolve issues and support effective outcomes
- Provide hands-on leadership in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment




- Support the National Credit Manager with reporting, analysis and broader credit initiatives

About you

We are looking for an experienced Credit Manager / Senior Credit professional who is comfortable leading a sizeable and complex AR function. You will be someone who can operate at both a strategic and hands-on level - providing direction to your leadership team while also being prepared to get involved in complex customer issues when required.

You will ideally bring:

- Previous experience managing a large Credit / Accounts Receivable function
- Strong people leadership experience, including managing through Supervisors or team leaders
- Experience working across collections, payment allocations, master data or similar AR functions
- Strong knowledge of credit management and collections processes within a high-volume environment
- Confidence managing complex customer accounts and escalations
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- A commercially minded and analytical approach, with the ability to interpret data and make sound decisions
- Experience driving process improvement and operational efficiencies
- Strong Excel and systems skills, with experience working across complex ERP environments
- The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly
