Customer Service Manager – Spanos IGA Gatton

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Customer Service Manager to join our team at Spanos IGA Gatton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced retail leader who enjoys being hands-on, developing people and creating an environment where both customers and team members feel valued.

You’ll play an important leadership role within the store, working closely with the Store Manager to build a strong team culture, improve the customer experience and help drive the continued success of the store.

An immediate start is available, or we’re happy to work with the right candidate on a suitable commencement date.

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days will be exactly the same. You’ll have the opportunity to lead from the front while taking ownership of the customer service experience.

Your responsibilities will include

- Setting the standard for our philosophy that “Every Local is Loved”
- Leading, supporting and developing the customer service team
- Creating a positive, energetic and customer-focused team culture
- Ensuring customers receive friendly, productive and high-quality service
- Training and developing team members to achieve their potential
- Assisting with rostering and day-to-day department operations
- Ordering, replenishing and maintaining appropriate stock levels




- Working closely with the Store Manager to identify opportunities to grow and improve the department
- Reviewing customer feedback and turning it into meaningful improvements
- Building strong relationships with our customers and local community
- Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and workplace safety

About You

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering a great customer experience.

Ideally, you will have:

- Experience in a similar retail, supermarket or customer service leadership role
- Previous team leadership or management experience
- A genuine passion for customer service
- Solid communication and people skills
- The ability to coach, motivate and develop a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to lead by example
- The ability to work with energy and pace in a busy retail environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A commitment to maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming workplace
