As a Houseperson / Runner, you will play a crucial support role within the housekeeping department, ensuring guest floors, public areas, and service spaces are maintained to world-class standards. You’ll work closely with Room Attendants and Supervisors to deliver linen, amenities, equipment, and respond to operational requests with speed and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities n

- Linen & amenity delivery — Provide timely delivery of linen, guest amenities, chemicals, and housekeeping supplies.
n
- Public area upkeep — Maintain corridors, lift lobbies, pantries, and back‑of‑house areas.
n
- Rubbish & recycling removal — Safely remove waste and ensure service areas remain clean and organised.
n
- Room attendant support — Assist with bed stripping, deep cleaning tasks, and room readiness.
n
- Urgent runner tasks — Respond quickly to Supervisor and Front Office requests.
n
- Guest service — Provide discreet, courteous assistance when interacting with guests.
n




- Safety & compliance — Follow WHS, chemical handling, and manual‑handling procedures.
n

What We’re Looking For nn
- Experience in housekeeping (hotel or commercial workplace preferred).
n
- Strong physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
n
- Excellent grooming, communication, and professional presentation.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
n
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to 5‑star service standards.
n
- Availability for rotating rosters, weekends, and public holidays.
