Machinery Salesperson – Takeuchi Equipment

n

About the Role

n

Taminda Hydraulics & Engineering is seeking a motivated and experienced Machinery Salesperson to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of Takeuchi excavators, track loaders and related attachments.

n

This role would suit someone with previous machinery sales experience or a strong background in earthmoving, agricultural, construction or heavy equipment. Applicants must be familiar with machinery and confident discussing machine features, applications and attachments with customers.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Promote and sell Takeuchi machinery and attachments.
n
- Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers.
n
- Assist customers in selecting the right machine and attachments for their needs.
n
- Prepare quotes and follow up sales enquiries.
n
- Conduct machine demonstrations and explain key features.
n
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Takeuchi products.
n
- Follow up leads and identify new sales opportunities.
n
- Attend field days,



trade shows and promotional events when required.
n
- Keep accurate customer and sales records.
n
- Work closely with our parts, service and management teams.
n
- Provide professional after-sales support and maintain customer relationships.
n

Skills and Experience

n

n
- Previous machinery or equipment sales experience is preferred.
n
- Must be familiar with earthmoving, construction, agricultural or similar machinery.
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
n
- Confident and professional sales approach.
n
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships.
n
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Basic computer and administration skills.
n
