This role involves the design of products for our target market of women aged 18-30, working closely with the Design & Production team.
n
We are located in Newtown (close to St Peters Station) - ample parking is also available.
n
Full time position (Mon-Fri)
n
Salary range: 90-100k + super per annum
Key Responsibilities: n
n
- Working closely with the clients, stakeholders and design and production team to
n develop a range of products from;
n o Women’s clothing, activewear, swimwear, shoes, accessories & sunglasses
n
- Establish, formulate, design and prepare concepts relevant to fit, manufacturing and
n quality to support White Fox’s branding objective
n
- Produce any specifications required for garment production in a timely manner and
n negotiate design solutions with clients, management and stakeholders
n
- Accountable for producing/fitting all samples and providing comments to suppliers
n regarding agreed time-frames, production methods and manufacturing processes
n
- Specifying and recommending design concepts to ensure fit, construction and quality
n of each garment
n
- Liaising with oversees suppliers & factories on a daily basis to supervise the
n manufacturing process
n
Requirements nn
- Minimum of 3 years in production or product development
n
- Degree or Diploma in Fashion
n
- Solid organisational skills
n
- Strong fitting and garment construction knowledge
n
- Strong understanding and knowledge of grading
n
- Excellent communication skills
n
- Comprehensive computer skills (mac)
n
- Ability to take initiative
n
- Ability to manage and co-ordinate multiple tasks at the same time
n
