The City’s Customer Experience business unit ensures that the City is adaptable to customer needs and creates seamless and accessible experiences that ensure our customers feel supported, connected and empowered. Customer Experience also leads the digital transformation at the City of Swan – driving system integration, enhancing efficiency and effectives, and allowing the City to communicate with its customers using modern, efficient and functional applications.
Reporting to the Manager Customer Experience, the Data Administration and Analytics Officer will be responsible for determining methods and organisational practices for quality data collection and reporting to ensure the City is meeting strategic objectives through informed decision making and implementation.
Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide support to Manager Customer Experience with creating reports and data extraction as required
- Collect and interpret relevant customer data to feed into budget process, corporate reporting, and business planning
- Provide weekly report to Manager Customer Experience on the accuracy of the customer database in line with corporate metrics
- Provide clear and specific reporting of customer data and trends back to the relevant members of the business
- Proactively identify patterns and trends related to customer data sets
- Work alongside teams within the business to establish business reporting and customer data needs
- Define, create, and implement data collection and analysis framework
- Develop standard organisational reporting template for sharing customer data.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Experience in Local Government is essential
- Relevant tertiary qualifications such as bachelor’s degree in business, Data Science or Business Analytics or graduate diploma in related discipline is essential
- Significant experience in the area of data administration, analysis and reporting
- Knowledge and ability to use relevant technology systems and applications
- High level knowledge of understanding data administration functions
- Well-developing written and verbal communications skills, particularly report writing skills
- A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required.

The salary for this position will be from $87,442.94 - $103,792.55 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
