The opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for a Data Officer to join Symbion’s National Deals team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and quality of high-volume data that supports key business functions across pricing, contracts, promotions, and product management. Working within a fast-paced supply chain environment, you will ensure data is processed accurately and within agreed lead times, directly contributing to positive outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, has exceptional attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering accurate results. Beyond data maintenance, you will have the opportunity to identify process improvements, support business projects, and develop valuable skills in data governance, contract administration, and operational excellence within a national healthcare supply chain business.
What you will do
- Accurately process high-volume maintenance requests across contracts,
promotions, pricing, and product records within published lead times
- Review, validate, and quality-check data to ensure accuracy before and after entry into ERP systems
- Maintain exceptional data quality standards, achieving and sustaining 99% accuracy across all assigned work
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data issues to minimise errors and ensure data integrity
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, reporting activities, and business projects that enhance team efficiency
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders while adhering to SOPs, Service Level Agreements, ISO requirements, and company policies
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in data entry, administration, or a similar high-volume processing environment
- Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to deliver accurate work under tight deadlines
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and interpret data effectively
- Solid organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and manage workload efficiently
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills, along with confidence learning new systems and processes
- A collaborative, resilient,
and team-oriented approach with the ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment
