Deli, Cafe & Retail All-Rounder

We are a local neighbourhood store serving coffee and fresh sandwiches, as well as selling flowers, deli products and everyday essentials. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and energetic all-rounder to join our team.

The role

You will assist across the cafe, deli and retail areas, providing excellent customer service and helping keep the store clean, well stocked and welcoming.

Key duties

- Prepare and serve coffee, drinks, sandwiches and other fresh food.
- Serve customers, take orders and process payments.
- Assist with deli products, including packing, labelling and restocking.
- Maintain attractive flower displays and assist customers with flower purchases.
- Refill shelves, fridges and displays with grocery and everyday essential items.
- Receive and unpack deliveries, rotate stock and check product quality.




- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and presentation.
- Help with opening, closing and general daily store operations.

What we’re looking for

- Previous cafe, deli, retail, food-preparation or customer-service experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of barista experience is an advantage.
- Friendly, confident and professional customer-service skills.
- Reliable, well presented and able to work efficiently in a busy setting.
- A willingness to assist across different areas of the store.
- Availability for early mornings, weekends and public holidays, as required; the store operates seven days a week.
