The Role An opportunity has become available for a Developer to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-solid team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

- Provide advice and support to stakeholders in the development, technical support and operation of localised, modern and user focused web applications
- Operate computer software and hardware; write, modify, deploy and maintain programming code on cloud platforms
- Provide ongoing advice, support and maintenance of software and web application
- Undertake effective change/release management process for software deployment in line with Information Management and Information Communication and Technology policies

About you To be successful in this position you will require:

While not mandatory, the following will be highly regarded:

- A tertiary qualification in an information technology or computer science discipline or a related field.
- Experience in a full stack developer or similar role.
- A sound working knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) is highly desirable for this role.
- A sound knowledge of information privacy and related legislation in a health care context.
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

- Temporary full time (12 months with the possibility of extension)




- Base salary ranging from $111,993 - $121,853 per annum
