Privately-Owned Development Company | Residential & Commercial Projects A privately-owned Queensland development company is seeking an experienced Development Manager to join their team. The position will be based in either the Brisbane or Toowoomba office.

This is a rare prospect to step into a true client-side role where you'll manage projects from early feasibility through to delivery and handover. The pipeline includes a mix of residential and commercial developments, with significant growth planned over the next 5 years.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Development, you will autonomously oversee the full lifecycle of development, including:

- Acquisition strategy, input and mapping

- Site due diligence, feasibility inputs & early planning

- Stakeholder management - clients, local councils and other regulatory bodies

- Managing design teams, consultants and technical advisors

- Procurement, tendering and engaging contractors

- Overseeing construction delivery, programming and budgets

- Managing variations, capital mangement, reporting, risk and compliance

- Ensuring projects are delivered to time, cost and quality

- Delivering developments with a "hands-on" and outcomes-focused approach

About You

You will thrive here if you bring a blend of development knowledge and commercial capability. Ideal backgrounds include:

- Land Acquisition skills

- Civil developmnet experience

- Moderate to Advanced modelling and financial reporting skills

- Demonstrated end-to-end project delivery

- Minimum 2-3 years of development management experience required
- An understanding of town planning

- Strong understanding of contracts management

- Ability to interpret plans, coordinate consultants and manage contractors

- Exposure to civil/early works packages

- Tertiary qualification in Project Management / Construction Management / Town Planning/ Property / Real Estate

Australian citizenship or permanent residency required for this position.
