About the role In this active, diverse role, you'll assemble products, prepare orders, and help get finished goods out the door. Working alongside and reporting to our Dispatch Manager, you'll gain practical manufacturing experience and build skills in assembly, quality control, and dispatch across our entire product range.

Key responsibilities

- Assembling trolleys and other manufactured products using hand and power tools.
- Checking products and parts for quality, completeness, and presentation before dispatch.
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for collection or delivery.
- Helping load and unload trucks and incoming deliveries.
- Cleaning and preparing laser-cut parts.
- Keeping dispatch, assembly, and storage areas clean, organised, and safe.
- Pitching in with general workshop duties as required.

About you

- Has some experience in assembly, warehousing, dispatch, or manufacturing.
- Is comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Enjoys active, hands-on work and working towards daily priorities.
- Notices the details and checks their work carefully.




- Takes initiative, follows instructions, and communicates well with teammates.
- Is reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute.
- Keeps work moving without compromising quality or safe manual handling.
- A forklift licence would be an advantage.

About us DKM Industries is a local manufacturer operating two successful in-house brands: Custom Trolleys Australia and Custom Laser Components. We manufacture for both brands under one roof.

Benefits

- Permanent full-time employment with a 40-hour working week.
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm.
- No weekend work required.
- $30–$32 per hour plus super, depending on relevant skills and experience, with applicable overtime paid separately.
