Bliss Disability Care Services is looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team.

We are seeking people who genuinely enjoy supporting others and are committed to providing respectful, person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity and choice.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you may assist participants with:

- Personal care and daily living activities
- Community access and social activities
- Household tasks and maintaining a safe environment
- Meal preparation
- Supporting participants to attend appointments and activities
- Encouraging independence and participation
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Following individual support plans and organisational procedures
- Working collaboratively with participants, families and the wider support team

Sleepover shifts may also be available, so applicants who are comfortable with sleepover work and have good availability are encouraged to apply.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Able to follow support plans and workplace procedures
- Versatile and willing to work across different shifts
- Committed to providing high-quality support

Relevant disability support, aged care,



community services or similar experience is desirable, but we are also interested in applicants who have the right attitude, willingness to learn and genuine passion for supporting people.

Requirements

- Previous experience in disability, aged care, community services or a similar support role is desirable
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check, where applicable
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Relevant qualifications such as Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability or Community Services are desirable
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Reliable access to a vehicle is highly desirable
- Ability to complete required training and organisational checks
