About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, reliable Casual Disability Support Worker to join our small, supportive team. This role involves providing person‑centred daily living support, personal care, and safe manual handling within participants’ homes.

This position is ideal for someone who values meaningful work, strong professional boundaries, and trauma‑informed practice.

Shifts Available

- Weekdays: 1‑hour morning shifts
- Weekends (every second weekend):
- 1‑hour morning shift
- 1‑hour evening shift
- Additional Shifts available for the right Candidate

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high‑quality personal care and daily living support
- Complete protected hoist transfers and manual handling
- Support participants with routines, organisation, and community access
- Maintain accurate shift documentation
- Uphold CCSS policies: safeguarding, privacy, boundaries, incident reporting, mandatory reporting




- Communicate clearly and respectfully with participants, families, and colleagues
- Work independently while contributing to a small, values‑driven team

Required Qualifications & Checks To be considered, applicants must hold:

- Cert III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Manual Handling & Infection Control
- Hoist competency
- Minimum 1 year experience in disability or community support
- Driver’s licence

Pay: $34.10 – $50.73 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 – 15.0 per week
