About the Role

As a Casual Disability Support Worker, you will support clients to live as independently as possible and participate in their community.

Your responsibilities may include

- Assisting clients with daily living activities
- Providing personal care and general support as required
- Supporting clients with community participation and social outings
- Accompanying clients to medical appointments and other appointments
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting clients to work towards their individual goals
- Following individual care and support plans
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes
- Providing respectful and culturally appropriate support
- Promoting client choice, independence,



dignity and safety

Essential Requirements Successful applicants should have, or be willing to obtain where applicable:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Clearance
- Working With Children Check, where required
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle and ability to travel to clients
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, respectful and professional approach

Previous experience in disability support, aged care, community services or a similar role will be highly regarded. Employment & Pay

This is a casual position, with shifts offered according to client needs and availability.

Pay rates will be discussed during the interview and will be based on relevant qualifications and experience.
