About Us:

Skytronics is specializing in innovative UAV solutions for industrial, agricultural, and research applications. We're looking for a skilled Drone Technician with hands-on flight and systems experience to join our dynamic team. This position is Part Time, upto 20 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain UAV systems with a solid focus on safety and compliance

- Conduct drone missions using Mission Planner and other GCS software

- Integrate and test obstacle avoidance systems, range finders, and telemetry

- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades on UAV platforms

- Document flight data, maintenance logs, and technical reports

- Collaborate with engineering and R&D; teams on field trials and prototype tests

Required Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 3 years experience in drone operations or UAV maintenance

- Valid RPAS (Remote Pilot Aircraft System) license





- Proficiency in autonomous flight planning using Mission Planner

- Hands-on experience with obstacle avoidance and range-finding sensors

- Familiarity with multirotor or fixed-wing drone platforms

- Excellent troubleshooting and system integration skills

Desirable:

- Experience with ArduPilot or PX4 flight controllers

- Knowledge of telemetry and sensor calibration

- Ability to travel to field locations as needed

Pay: $28.00 – $40.00 per hour

Experience

- Drone flying: 3 years (Preferred)

- Ardupilot: 3 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification

- RPAS (Preferred)
