A major financial organisation is seeking an experienced Tech Risk Specialist.
n Join a growing Risk & Compliance team and provide independent oversight of technology risk, operational resilience and governance across a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Review and strengthen technology risk, governance and resilience policies, processes and controls.
n
- Conduct technology risk assessments and support risk mitigation and remediation activities.
n
- Provide independent oversight and challenge across technology, cloud, data, AI and third-party risk domains.
n
- Perform assurance reviews and control testing to assess control effectiveness.
n
- Support operational resilience, business continuity and recovery capability uplift initiatives.
n
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and industry frameworks, including APRA standards.
n
- Provide risk reporting, insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
n




- Identify emerging technology risks, systemic issues and opportunities for control improvement.
n
- Review incidents and root cause analyses to ensure sustainable remediation outcomes.
n

About You nn
- Experience in Technology Risk, IT Risk, Operational Risk, Technology Governance, Risk & Compliance or IT Audit.
n
- Robust knowledge of technology risk management, cloud environments, operational resilience and governance frameworks.
n
- Financial industry experience is a must have
n
- APRA regulatory experience is highly desirable
n
- Experience conducting risk assessments, control assurance, testing or audit activities.
n
- Ability to influence stakeholders and provide effective independent challenge.
n
- Certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CGEIT, CCSP, CCSK or equivalent are highly regarded.
