Maternity Leave Cover – Until the end of December 2026 (with possibility of extension)

Jamestown Community Children’s Centre is seeking a passionate and nurturing Early Childhood Educator to join our friendly and supportive team on a part-time maternity leave cover basis, from 12 October until 23 December 2026, with the possibility of extension into 2027.

This role offers up to 16 hours per week, working on Monday and Wednesday.

? We also invite applications from educators interested in joining our casual relief list, with opportunities to cover planned and unplanned absences across the Centre.

⭐ About the Role

You will:

- Work collaboratively within a dedicated and supportive team
- Provide a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for children
- Support children’s learning in line with the EYLF and National Quality Standards
- Build strong and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues

⭐ About You

You will have:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively working towards)
- Diploma qualification if preferred, with a Diploma-qualified educator specifically required for Wednesdays
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and care
- Availability to work Mondays and Wednesdays for the part time role
